About Us
Rachel Sasse got her motorcycle license at 17 riding around on a little Honda CT70. At 23, she jumped to a Kawasaki Ninja ZX6E, and she hasn't looked back. Rachel took the MARRC Roadracing School in 2004 and has been racing ever since. She met Rick by joining his race team, where he was a tremendous help teaching her about bikes. Rachel hopes to impart her passion for racing on others to help the racing and motorcycle industry grow to be as popular as it is in Europe! After selling Fast Lane Cycles, Rick needed a new project. Combining their passion of motorcycles, racing, and their hard work ethic and determination, Rachel and Rick decided to open a new shop in the Sterling area. It was close enough to service their dedicated customers in Fairfax, a nice ride up RT 7 or RT 28, while expanding into Loudoun County, which was in dire need of a real performance shop. Why shop with RnR Cycles and trust us? We pride ourselves on giving our customers the best service available, the best advice on parts and accessories, and a crew that understands all aspects of our business. We have a rock solid reputation of providing excellent customer service, support and satisfaction. We are the Northern VA motorcycle shop for you.other GTO teams who were closely battling for overall points. f you are roadracing and in the Northern Virginia area, you need us. We are Sterling VA's motorcycle repair shop. Rick Beggs has been in the high performance industry for 30 years, the last 20 of them racing and working on high performance motorcycles. He is also the director of the MARRC Roadracing School , and the MARRC Track Day Coordinator. To find more infomation about MARRC and all they do, visit http://www.marrc.org/ .
We need to give credit to another shop , Bob's BMW. They started this policy and we think it is great:
"If you have a scheduled service appointment and you ride in the rain to get here on time for your appointment, we'll take $15 OFF the total bill for your service. We wouldn't be offering this except that a bunch of you fair-weather weenies have been canceling appointments just because of a little rain. Our technicians, most of whom rode in the rain to get here, are starting to take it personally! And remember, everybody
benefits when our busy service schedule keeps rolling smoothly, rain or shine. So think about it ... you only need to go to the trouble of putting on your rain suit to get 15 bucks off your service ticket! Not a bad deal, eh?"
If you road race, or are considering trying it, you could find no better place to get your gear and get any questions you may have answered. Rick Beggs has been roadracing for 19 years, winning 4 national championships and at least 17 regional titles. He knows what you need and where to get it.

2007 Objectives I plan to promote my sponsors by attending as many Mid-Atlantic CCS races as I can, continuing to improve as an amateur. By establishing myself as a more dominant presence on the track, I hope to gain even greater sponsorship opportunities. I also plan to continue racing in the CCS Team Challenge series for RNR Cycles and secure a national championship. My Experience 2006 With my friends pitching together to buy me my ‘new' race bike as a birthday present, and the never-ending help of Rick Beggs of RNR Cycles to help me build a safe and reliable machine, I was a bit more competitive for the 06 season. I was also approached by Jason Gibbens to be his teammate in the CCS Team Challenge series, racing his 2006 Kawasaki 6R. · National 8th place overall, Team Challenge · National 2nd place, GTU class, Team Challenge 2005 My experience on the race track the 05 year was much more productive than my initiation into racing the previous year. I was able to race each of the 6 CCS race weekendss held at Summit Point, and one at VIR. Still riding a severely outdated 1995 YZF 600, I gained more experience as the race season progressed and made enough points to race as an expert for the 2006 season. 2004 I took the MARRC Roadracing School in May 2004 at Summit Point, WV, passed, and raced that weekend on my 1995 YZF 600. I raced my one and only race that year. It was raining, and I ran the race without rain tires. I pushed the bike too hard, low-siding in turn 9 on the second lap. With cancellation of CCS races at Summit Point for the rest of the year and my limited funds, my racing career for that year came to an abrupt end. Current Sponsors I have to thank Rick Beggs of RNR Cycles in Sterling, VA, for being my main sponsor and believing in me. Also, I have signed with the Lockhartt-Phillips Team Privateer program. What I ride For the 07 season, I will be racing a 2004 Kawasaki ZX6R. On the street, I ride a 1998 ZX9R, which I try to ride any day that is above 40 degrees in the morning, and does not drop down below 40 degrees by evening. If it's summer, I try to ride every day. I don't care if it rains on me or not, as long as it's warm! Where I work Internal Product Trainer, Dedicated Micros. I train my team who provides technical support with regards to the setup, security, maintenance and troubleshooting of our networkable DVR surveillance products. What I do I am an avid Ultimate Frisbee player, playing on a B division clique league team in the Winter, Spring, and Fall, while on a weekly workout regimen to keep me in shape. I try to fill my thrill seeking in the Winter by getting in some snowboarding time and riding around an indoor mini-moto track, waiting for the new race season to begin.
